Joining and Setting Up Your Safelists
When you arrive on the main page of each safelist you join, click around on a few of its buttons and links to get to know it. Compare the safelist's membership levels and take note of how often free members can mail to the list.
SAVE those details and all other pertinent information like the login link, your username(make sure it is unique), password and your affiliate link to a special "My Safelists" file on your desktop (or other easily remembered folder) as you go along.
During the sign up process, you'll be asked what your CONTACT email address is and also what your LIST email address is. Be careful here and keep them straight!
Use the same list email address for each safelist you join. Likewise, use the same contact email address for each safelist you join.
Most safelists require you to verify both your list and contact addresses. So, once you have signed up for the first safelist, login to your CONTACT email address Gmail account.
Open the confirmation email message you received from the safelist and click the link inside it to verify your email. Leave this email open for the next step.
When you market online using safelists, you will get a TON of email. We are now going to give your Gmail account some instructions so that it will label and filter specific emails from specific lists and place them in their own little sections, not just all scattered by the hundreds in your inbox.
When you need to earn credits to send your own ads through a particular list, this organization will allow you to quickly find all the emails with credit links in them from that specific list.
Look at the open email you have in front of you. At the top of it underneath the subject title, you'll see a *show details* link. Click on it to see where this email came from. What domain did the email come from? vitaladviews.com? globalsafelist.com? Something else? Highlight and copy this part of the *from* email address.
(Example: If the from address is bounce@vitaladviews.com, you'd highlight and copy just the domain like this: vitaladviews.com)
Right next to the Search the Web button at the top of the page, click on the Create a Filter link.
Paste the safelist email domain in the "From:" field. Then click the Next Step button.
On the next page that pops open, check the Skip Inbox option.
Now check the Apply Label option, and in the drop down box, choose New Label. A box will open for you to type Busine in the name of the safelist (if it's Guaranteedresult4u, type that in ... If it's Businessworldlist, type that in, etc.). Click the Okay button.
Now click the Create Filter button towards the bottom of the page.
All contact email messages from that safelist will now be directed toward the new label you created with the same name. You'll see your new label in your Gmail account in the left column in the Labels section.
Whenever you want to click for credits on that list or read the safelist admin's special alerts & updates, go to this folder.
Delete the verification email and log out.

How to Succeed with Safelist 2
How do these programs work?
As mentioned previously, safelists are membership programs. This means in order to participate, you must first register an account with the safelist website.
Start with one list. Join the top safelist and get to know what it is all about. Read everything they have to offer and make sure you know the rules. Don't send anything out yet.
Once you complete the sign-up form, you will be required to validate one or both of the email addresses you registered. This is the double opt-in feature mentioned earlier.
The list you have joined will send you a confirmation email that contains a special validation link. The highest converting traffic I've ever seen...
Traffic
Eruption is a new site that says it guarantees more web visitors and
online advertising with very little effort or cost. More importantly,
it promises higher CONVERSIONS--signups and sales. So I decided to put
it to the test...
My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an
attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining
the site was easy and painless--they do offer 2 upgrade options but
they are not required to gain the benefits.
The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive--I could figure
out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and
running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you create links and
ads--the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the
generator and it transforms them into "Traffic Eruption" links. You
create ads for anything you want to promote using the Traffic Eruption
Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links
and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical
way--links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5
most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also,
since the link generator is the tool you'll use most, it is also right
at the top of the main page when you login. Very smart!
After you've created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate
traffic. Just use and promote the new Traffic Eruption link instead of
the original source link you had. Every time the Traffic Eruption link
is clicked, the page loads followed by a small ad window in the lower
right corner. It displays 3 ads PLUS an image with your affiliate link
that goes back to Traffic Eruption. So if anyone clicks the Traffic
Eruption image they see the site, and if they signup they become your
referral. It's a great viral feature because you can build referrals
without even trying to just by using the site.
Now every time the ad window displays (your Traffic Eruption links get

And this works virally--meaning as you make referrals into Traffic

When you come online looking to make money from your work, you need to understand that there are really only two kinds of marketing to recognize... two kinds of marketing and ONE BIG internet:
Sales Marketing and Network Marketing
Sales Marketing
The most recognized form of sales marketing on the internet (that you are exposed to when you are looking to make money online) is affiliate marketing. All of those websites claiming you can make thousands per month selling Clickbank products and affiliate products are an example of sales marketing.
When you are reading a sales letter and are tempted to purchase yet another product that you feel may help you to make money online, you are experiencing sales marketing.
The whole point of sales marketing is the sale. So as an affiliate marketer, my goal is to match up specific products to the markets that will buy those products, and then collect my commission for doing so. As with anything, the better you get at targeting and segmenting markets, the more sales you can make, and thus the more commissions you will enjoy.
The Pro's of sales marketing are easy to see. You are paid according to your work and how much you sell. You don't create the products, you do not worry about distributing them or helping the purchaser use the product... you are not the go-to person when a customer has a problem with the product or when they have a technical issue and need support. You simply match the products up to the people who will buy them and collect a commission when they purchase. That is the extent of your involvement.
The other great thing about sales marketing is that once a customer makes a purchase and you get paid, you are not tied to them in any way to help them make money with the product. They got what they paid for and you both go your separate ways. Most of the time, they do not even know they purchased from an affiliate.
Now I love affiliate marketing, BUT I also know its limitations. Just as it has its Pro's, it also has its Con's. The Con's are not a bad thing, they are just part of the process.
I know that if I do not continue to build new targeted marketing campaigns, or continue to tweak and make campaigns I already have perform even better, the money stops coming. I can set my marketing on almost 100% autopilot but it would be difficult for me as an affiliate marketer to disappear for a year to a tropical island without having to take my laptop with me and monitor my advertising daily.
In other words, direct sales is great for NOW money and it should definitely be part of your marketing plan and business plan. But you also need leverage, and to experience true time freedom (which is what everyone is looking for and why they want to quit their JOB), you NEED leverage. This leverage is also referred to as residual income. You need some way of having the work you do now echo into eternity. :-)
Leverage and residual income are the retirement plans of entrepreneurs and internet marketers. It is what people are looking for when they come online seeking wealth.
This is why many aspiring internet entrepreneurs see the second kind of marketing as the answer to their prayers and the best vehicle to reach their dreams and goals. This second form of marketing is called network marketing. This is where the majority of wealth seekers will end up, so I really need to share with you a bit about this form of marketing and tell you the things that no one else will.
Network Marketing
Network marketing, or MLM (multi-level-marketing) as it is sometimes called, attempts to add leverage and residual income to a sales-marketing model. I say it "attempts" to do so because of course, in MLM, as in any form of marketing, you still have to sell something to get paid. The difference is that the sale is not direct and the products are not the main focus. The main focus is the building of a sales marketing team that you will coordinate and train to sell products by helping them build their own teams. The products are secondary and this is quite obvious, thus MLM is always looked at with a crooked eye by many.
Anytime you read about having to recruit others or gain referrals for some “program,” you are dealing with network marketing. In fact, anything that pays you on more than one level can be considered network marketing.
This means that even some affiliate programs which pay you a percentage of the sales of people you sign up as affiliates falls somewhat into this category. These affiliate programs are commonly referred to as Two-Tier Affiliate Programs and they pay you a percentage of your own personal sales of their products and a smaller percentage of the sales of the affiliates you sign up.
The Pro's of network marketing are obvious. The idea is that you build up a great sales team who also has the goal of building up a great sales team and at some point, the work you do today will compound until it starts to grow on its own and you will continue to be paid... forever. There isn't a single person in the world who would not love to have money coming in every month that continues to grow long after the work is done. This is the power of leverage and the power of network marketing.
Of course, there are Con's, as well. Since the goal is residual income, more emphasis is placed on the final outcome and less on the NOW money, which is just as important. You also have to deal with the training of your downline members to become able to build a business for themselves so you that you can then earn a percentage of their efforts.
Everything in network marketing is based on the continual supply of new salespeople who can also bring in new salespeople who can also bring in... well, you get the point.
There are plenty more Pro's and Con's that can be listed for both sales and network marketing. Each form of marketing can be dissected and broken down into smaller groups but my intention here is not to provide you with the history of sales and network marketing and their respective evolutions over time. The point is to simply illustrate to you that whatever you are looking at falls into one of these categories or is a hybrid of some sort which attempts to utilize the benefits of both. This can end up working in your favor or not, but the only person that is responsible for recognizing the benefits VS the detriments, is YOU.

As I stated before, the majority of people looking to earn money online are faced with choosing either a sales marketing model or MLM as their way to earn, or they try to be both a network marketer and an affiliate marketer and fail miserably at both in the process. Yet now the MLM industry is obsessed with getting in at the top before anyone else, even though it is statistically proven that around 90% of these start-up companies will fail within 1 year.
Take a look at the ads flying around. They are all about “TIMING” these days. MLM folks talk about timing and how important it is... you can get tons of spillover, spill under etc... All you have to do is join now! (Yeah RIGHT!)
What happened is that MLM people stole the pre-launch idea from direct marketers (who actually had a reason to pre-launch and BETA test products and software), and applied it to the MLM industry.
How many times have you seen the pre-launch announcement of the next BIG thing?
Five years ago, professional networkers knew that these were tricks to lure new blood into companies that did not know how to grow on their own and they stayed away from them. Now, even the professional networkers feel that in order to compete, they must jump on it or lose their downlines to the pre-launch mania.
So what is up with this obsession with timing and why are MLM companies adopting the pre-launch model? The answer is simple. They are dying, except they do not understand that they are dying by their own hand.
Here is what happens, just so you know:
In MLM, since the product really is not the issue, YOU are the commodity being traded. Since the number of new MLM start-ups drastically outnumbers the actual number of people coming into network marketing, there is a fight for YOU.
So, new MLM start-up companies started to utilize the pre-launch phenomenon to build up the capital they would need to actually build their business. Since YOU are the actual capital they need, they have to pull you away from where you are because you are a finite source of capital.
If you are a leader in your industry, all the better because others will then follow you. As a leader with a major following you are offered bribes and all sorts of perks so that the new Pre-launch company can attract YOUR capital that you have invested your blood and sweat into creating, which is YOUR downline. And if you do not jump ship FIRST into “the greatest new thing since sliced bread”, it is likely that your uneducated downline (uneducated by the fact they are new to the industry and your company, not because they are dumb), who are always further down in your group because they are new, will jump because they don't know any better and they think they will miss out on the biggest thing to ever hit the Internet!
They do not realize that EVERYDAY the “greatest thing to hit the Internet” launches!
They have not figured this out yet because they are new to the industry.
Your hard work now begins to unravel from the bottom up unless you jump ship first which is what the majority of BIG leaders are doing these days.
It is a sad fact, but these companies who employ and attach sales marketing strategies to a network marketing model are actually destroying the very industry they claim to be part of.
As the BIG leaders jump ship and take their downlines with them, or one of their own downline members jumps and tries to recruit their leader into a new company in the hopes of flipping the tables for instant success, it starts a chain reaction of desertion.
And unfortunately, it gets worse!
As everyone starts to get settled into the new company another amazing pre-launch is announced for yet another “Soon-to-be-Bigger-Than-Microsoft-With-You-On-Top” company, and it only takes one person to decide that they want to get the upper hand on this one (because they didn't the last time) and they jump ship, pull their downline with them, and attempt to recruit their upline as well.
Today, every 3-6 months a new pre-launch happens and as people scramble to get at the top of this one, (mostly out of fear that they will lose out if they stay in their original company), the original company fails and shuts down. This happens over and over again... companies pre-launch, people scramble to be at the top and the companies that they left fail... over and over and over again.
I bet you didn't know how valuable you actually are... that YOU are the hot commodity these companies are trying to woo with their marketing tactics.
Now you know how valuable you truly are and NOW you can apply that value to yourself and stop giving it away!
I hope you see how just one stupid move, a seemingly innocent use of a marketing model in the wrong place, can destroy companies and a whole industry. The very first thing I want to say is that the Internet itself is NOT a business opportunity.
I believe I need to lead in with that statement because I don't really feel that people understand what this means. When you come online looking to make money from your work, you need to understand that there are really only two kinds of marketing to recognize... two kinds of marketing and ONE BIG internet:
Sales Marketing and Network Marketing
Sales Marketing
The most recognized form of sales marketing on the internet (that you are exposed to when you are looking to make money online) is affiliate marketing. All of those websites claiming you can make thousands per month selling Clickbank products and affiliate products are an example of sales marketing.
When you are reading a sales letter and are tempted to purchase yet another product that you feel may help you to make money online, you are experiencing sales marketing.
The whole point of sales marketing is the sale. So as an affiliate marketer, my goal is to match up specific products to the markets that will buy those products, and then collect my commission for doing so. As with anything, the better you get at targeting and segmenting markets, the more sales you can make, and thus the more commissions you will enjoy.
The Pro's of sales marketing are easy to see. You are paid according to your work and how much you sell. You don't create the products, you do not worry about distributing them or helping the purchaser use the product... you are not the go-to person when a customer has a problem with the product or when they have a technical issue and need support. You simply match the products up to the people who will buy them and collect a commission when they purchase. That is the extent of your involvement.
The other great thing about sales marketing is that once a customer makes a purchase and you get paid, you are not tied to them in any way to help them make money with the product. They got what they paid for and you both go your separate ways. Most of the time, they do not even know they purchased from an affiliate.
Now I love affiliate marketing, BUT I also know its limitations. Just as it has its Pro's, it also has its Con's. The Con's are not a bad thing, they are just part of the process.
I know that if I do not continue to build new targeted marketing campaigns, or continue to tweak and make campaigns I already have perform even better, the money stops coming. I can set my marketing on almost 100% autopilot but it would be difficult for me as an affiliate marketer to disappear for a year to a tropical island without having to take my laptop with me and monitor my advertising daily.
In other words, direct sales is great for NOW money and it should definitely be part of your marketing plan and business plan. But you also need leverage, and to experience true time freedom (which is what everyone is looking for and why they want to quit their JOB), you NEED leverage. This leverage is also referred to as residual income. You need some way of having the work you do now echo into eternity. :-)
Leverage and residual income are the retirement plans of entrepreneurs and internet marketers. It is what people are looking for when they come online seeking wealth.
This is why many aspiring internet entrepreneurs see the second kind of marketing as the answer to their prayers and the best vehicle to reach their dreams and goals. This second form of marketing is called network marketing. This is where the majority of wealth seekers will end up, so I really need to share with you a bit about this form of marketing and tell you the things that no one else will.
Network Marketing
Network marketing, or MLM (multi-level-marketing) as it is sometimes called, attempts to add leverage and residual income to a sales-marketing model. I say it "attempts" to do so because of course, in MLM, as in any form of marketing, you still have to sell something to get paid. The difference is that the sale is not direct and the products are not the main focus. The main focus is the building of a sales marketing team that you will coordinate and train to sell products by helping them build their own teams. The products are secondary and this is quite obvious, thus MLM is always looked at with a crooked eye by many.
Anytime you read about having to recruit others or gain referrals for some “program,” you are dealing with network marketing. In fact, anything that pays you on more than one level can be considered network marketing.
This means that even some affiliate programs which pay you a percentage of the sales of people you sign up as affiliates falls somewhat into this category. These affiliate programs are commonly referred to as Two-Tier Affiliate Programs and they pay you a percentage of your own personal sales of their products and a smaller percentage of the sales of the affiliates you sign up.
The Pro's of network marketing are obvious. The idea is that you build up a great sales team who also has the goal of building up a great sales team and at some point, the work you do today will compound until it starts to grow on its own and you will continue to be paid... forever. There isn't a single person in the world who would not love to have money coming in every month that continues to grow long after the work is done. This is the power of leverage and the power of network marketing.
Of course, there are Con's, as well. Since the goal is residual income, more emphasis is placed on the final outcome and less on the NOW money, which is just as important. You also have to deal with the training of your downline members to become able to build a business for themselves so you that you can then earn a percentage of their efforts.
Everything in network marketing is based on the continual supply of new salespeople who can also bring in new salespeople who can also bring in... well, you get the point.
There are plenty more Pro's and Con's that can be listed for both sales and network marketing. Each form of marketing can be dissected and broken down into smaller groups but my intention here is not to provide you with the history of sales and network marketing and their respective evolutions over time. The point is to simply illustrate to you that whatever you are looking at falls into one of these categories or is a hybrid of some sort which attempts to utilize the benefits of both. This can end up working in your favor or not, but the only person that is responsible for recognizing the benefits VS the detriments, is YOU.

The reason why so many people fail online has a lot to do with not recognizing what form of marketing their program or product requires to succeed.
For instance, if you are in a network marketing company that employs a sales marketing strategy and trains you in this form of marketing, you will achieve very little success no matter what you do. As I stated before, the majority of people looking to earn money online are faced with choosing either a sales marketing model or MLM as their way to earn, or they try to be both a network marketer and an affiliate marketer and fail miserably at both in the process. The problem is, as I have demonstrated, not even the affiliate marketing and MLM companies necessarily understand their respective markets, so how can someone who has just started make heads or tails of it all?
This starts the aspiring entrepreneur on a path I call “The Rude Awakening.” This rude awakening hurts because it is never recognized for what it is... the result of an industry that is evolving rapidly, with program owners and marketers at the helm who don't get it and who do not see the changes affecting them. Talk about a recipe for failure right from the get-go!
If you want residual income (and I am sure we all do) then MLM is the way to go and this is where most people end up online. It seems as if everything has some sort of MLM model to it, from advertising services to major companies, as it allows them to spend very little on advertising and still make tons of sales of their product in the marketplace.

It is a phenomenon and a business model that many have dubbed G.I.C. (Get Immediate Cash). I think it is a silly name but that seems to be the familiar acronym these days so I will use it. I just consider it doing business intelligently.

Have you ever heard of the term MLM Junkie? But for some reason this doesn't fly anymore and I do not see a single new MLM company talking like this!
Here is what IS happening instead:
It used to be wise to join a company that has been stable for at least 5 years and build it for 3-5 years as I mentioned above. Yet now the MLM industry is obsessed with getting in at the top before anyone else, even though it is statistically proven that around 90% of these start-up companies will fail within 1 year.
Take a look at the ads flying around. They are all about “TIMING” these days. MLM folks talk about timing and how important it is... you can get tons of spillover, spill under etc... All you have to do is join now! (Yeah RIGHT!)
What happened is that MLM people stole the pre-launch idea from direct marketers (who actually had a reason to pre-launch and BETA test products and software), and applied it to the MLM industry.
How many times have you seen the pre-launch announcement of the next BIG thing?
Five years ago, professional networkers knew that these were tricks to lure new blood into companies that did not know how to grow on their own and they stayed away from them. Now, even the professional networkers feel that in order to compete, they must jump on it or lose their downlines to the pre-launch mania.
So what is up with this obsession with timing and why are MLM companies adopting the pre-launch model? The answer is simple. They are dying, except they do not understand that they are dying by their own hand.
Here is what happens, just so you know:
In MLM, since the product really is not the issue, YOU are the commodity being traded. Since the number of new MLM start-ups drastically outnumbers the actual number of people coming into network marketing, there is a fight for YOU.
So, new MLM start-up companies started to utilize the pre-launch phenomenon to build up the capital they would need to actually build their business. Since YOU are the actual capital they need, they have to pull you away from where you are because you are a finite source of capital.
If you are a leader in your industry, all the better because others will then follow you. As a leader with a major following you are offered bribes and all sorts of perks so that the new Pre-launch company can attract YOUR capital that you have invested your blood and sweat into creating, which is YOUR downline. And if you do not jump ship FIRST into “the greatest new thing since sliced bread”, it is likely that your uneducated downline (uneducated by the fact they are new to the industry and your company, not because they are dumb), who are always further down in your group because they are new, will jump because they don't know any better and they think they will miss out on the biggest thing to ever hit the Internet!
They do not realize that EVERYDAY the “greatest thing to hit the Internet” launches!
They have not figured this out yet because they are new to the industry.
Your hard work now begins to unravel from the bottom up unless you jump ship first which is what the majority of BIG leaders are doing these days.
It is a sad fact, but these companies who employ and attach sales marketing strategies to a network marketing model are actually destroying the very industry they claim to be part of.
As the BIG leaders jump ship and take their downlines with them, or one of their own downline members jumps and tries to recruit their leader into a new company in the hopes of flipping the tables for instant success, it starts a chain reaction of desertion.
And unfortunately, it gets worse!
As everyone starts to get settled into the new company another amazing pre-launch is announced for yet another “Soon-to-be-Bigger-Than-Microsoft-With-You-On-Top” company, and it only takes one person to decide that they want to get the upper hand on this one (because they didn't the last time) and they jump ship, pull their downline with them, and attempt to recruit their upline as well.
Today, every 3-6 months a new pre-launch happens and as people scramble to get at the top of this one, (mostly out of fear that they will lose out if they stay in their original company), the original company fails and shuts down. This happens over and over again... companies pre-launch, people scramble to be at the top and the companies that they left fail... over and over and over again.
I bet you didn't know how valuable you actually are... that YOU are the hot commodity these companies are trying to woo with their marketing tactics.
Now you know how valuable you truly are and NOW you can apply that value to yourself and stop giving it away!
I hope you see how just one stupid move, a seemingly innocent use of a marketing model in the wrong place, can destroy companies and a whole industry. If you did not understand what I was talking about before, you should now, and you should also understand why most MLM companies fail within their first year. It is not a mystery why they do, but I bet no one has ever explained to you the real reason why. I just have.
Are You In Control Of YOUR Income?
The trouble that MLM is in today is due largely to marketing ignorance. You don't have to know anything to start a company and you don't need any money either... you just make it up as you go and when it fails you do it again somewhere else under a different name. I see it all the time.
But those types of operations, the pre-launch companies especially, always eventually go out of business. But what about the BIG companies who have proved themselves true and are still around after 5-10 years... they are safe right?
Well, they are generally safe and stable as a good place to set up shop... much better than a new company who funds itself and its start-up with the pre-launch, but the model itself is still inherently flawed for many reasons.
Lets say you HAVE built up a $10,000 per month residual income with a great company. Your income continues to grow and you are on top of the world! You have bought a new house, a new car, put your kids in private school and all of this is based on your income. But do you really have ANY control over this income whatsoever?
The honest answer is no. You actually have NO control at all over your income. The company could change their compensation plan just a little for a number of reasons... this little change to them could cut your check in half.
Let's say it does cut your check in half, but you have another source of income so you can still meet most of your financial obligations.
But here is the problem... you have NO control over what anyone ELSE will do in your downline due to the comp plan changes and they are your source of income! You also have even less control what your sponsor or his sponsor decides to do. You are held prisoner to your upline and your downline. You need them to continue to get paid, but do they need you?
Just think about how fast $10,000 per month... maybe even $20,000 per month can disappear! This is the money you use to pay for your house and your kids' education and you have absolutely no say in it at all. You did all of the work, but it can be gone in a matter of 24 hours.
The fact of the matter is your income is almost totally based on strangers you have never met. These are people you know nothing about and yet they actually are in charge and can dictate your future.
The really hard part about all of this is there is nothing you can do, as this is how the network marketing model works.

HOW TO POST YOUR AD ON CRAIGLIST WITHOUT STRESS
This technique will show you how to get a lot of response and traffic using http://www.craigslist.org
This strategy utilizes "out of the box thinking". It does NOT require you to post ads to their site, yet it works very well when done the right way.
Here is what to do:
1. Go to craigslist.org and search for ads posted about "making
money".
2. Simply click on their email and your email client should show
with their email address in the send to: field.
PREP NOTES:
1. Have a notepad with your response and copy and paste that into the body of the email.
Do NOT include any links in your response - craigslist has a strict no-spam policy.
2. Set up the email you are using to contact the poster with a *vacation* response that will
automatically answer your prospect should he/she write you for more information. (You
should also answer personally!)
Your response can be written similarly to this EXAMPLE. Be original! Edit the comments to fit your ideas and personality so that people reading about this technique all don't say the same thing!
Think outside the box ... Depending on the product or service you hope to promote, what else might you say or comment about to the seller?
